I will be talking part of a panel for a large group of endodontist and I will be representing the GP’s (2 GP's and 2 Endo's). It is to be an opportunity for the endodontists to get the honest perspective of what a GP is actually thinking about them. Some questions that were submitted to give insight into what they would like discussed (see below). I have my own thoughts but wanted to CROWDSOURCE your thoughts.... Would you mind sharing any comments on what you (as a GP) would want from an Endodontist? Curious....

How and why do they make decisions about what to refer and what to treat. What criteria do they use to evaluate quality of Endodontic treatment 
What is the defining factor in the decision to refer to a particular endodontist
How I can support them and their practice better
What are their hopes and expectations of their top endodontist
What are the 5 most important factors (in order of importance) when you consider an endodontic referral
When do you refer a patient? When don’t you refer? How would you like me to communicate with you? How can I help you...( diagnosis, treatment planning, etc)  
What are the important qualities of a specialist  
How they choose the endodontist they refer their patients to
Restoration of endodontically treated teeth and the impact on tooth survival  
Why choosing implants over endodontic therapy? Would they refer placement of implants to endodontists who can decide best course of treatment to offer patients and place implants if needed.
